Just finished up the Postman With Paul course. Thank you so much for that resource. I am certainly not a developer, but I do understand the concepts and how it relates to Brightspace as an administrator. It really helped me understand how I can create some simple workflows to save me and our department some time. I am very excited to dive in more. Would love to see more content added in the course, collections or even a follow-up course.
I have a couple of collection ideas that I'm considering working on, but know someone else could create them 8000 times faster than me!
- Sandbox course offering creation. Use an input file of usernames. Get first and last name of the user and create a course offering named FirstName LastName's sandbox. Put under a sandbox course template. Then, enroll the username into their own sandbox as an instructor role type and enroll a sample student into the course for testing/impersonation reasons.
- Gradebook settings. We continually find instructors using 'treat ungraded items as zero' and we'd like to ensure that is not used in a vast majority of our classes. Releasing the final calculated grade for each student across the board would also be of interest.
- Bulk delete a module from many courses. This one might scare some (and me included), but I'd like to come up with a way to bulk delete modules to save a boat load of time. As an example, I can pull a list from the data hub of all courses that have a old "Getting Started" module. They would all be named the same thing since we previously bulk copied it into hundreds of courses. We no longer want the old module in there (to avoid it being copied into new shells), so we would delete that and in a separate CCB process would copy in the new getting started module.
Thanks for the consideration!

@Travis Hunt These are so helpful!
Thank you so much for leaving us this feedback! We'll definitely refer back to it as we review and evaluate the course!
