Hi!
The D2L Product Design team wants your input! We are looking for input from teachers, faculty and instructors to provide input into some product research. If you have people in our organization who use learning outcomes/competencies/standards in their courses, we would like to invite them to participate in a study about the manual evaluation of course-level overall learning outcome achievement. Please forward this e-mail to anyone in your organization who you feel would be a good fit.
More details on this project are below. If you are interested and fit this profile, please select a time slot: https://doodle.com/poll/vmvyyde37nnp985q
If none of the available time slots work for you but you would still like to get involved, please respond to Maxime.Larcheveque@D2L.com indicating as such so we can try to work out a more convenient time.
Project Details
What is this research about? We are interested in understanding why and how you use learning outcomes/competencies/standards in your class, and how you perform manual evaluation of course-level learning outcome achievement.
What do I need to prepare? There’s nothing to prepare beforehand. We’ll send you a calendar invite with a Zoom link to access the meeting and a non-disclosure agreement to sign electronically. If for some reason, you can’t make the session, just let us know as soon as you can at ux@D2L.com.
What should I expect in the session? The session will be 1 hour long. We’ll first ask few questions to understand your background and role, as well as information on standards or learning outcomes that you use in your teaching practice. Then, we’ll talk about a potential solution we’ve been working on. We’ll leave a few minutes at the end so you can provide any general feedback about your experiences in Brightspace.
What do I get out of the session? As a token of our appreciation, we will send you an Amazon gift card for $40 USD.
What happens after the session? We can’t always follow up with you on the impact that your session had on our design, but we do take the sessions very seriously and ensure they have an impact on our product.
