H5P Modularity: Combining Interactives
One of the best things about H5P is the modularity of interactives. Designers can combine H5P interactives by nesting them within one another to create sophisticated learning solutions.
For example, check out the following Interactive Book. Not only does it use the features of an Interactive Book like text and images, but it also uses H5P interactives like Hotspots, Quizzes, and Drag and Drops.
In this article, we’ll give a complete breakdown of which H5P interactives you can combine.
The following table lists every H5P Interactive that is available in the All-New Creator+. [BH1] For each interactive, we note whether the interface allows you to insert other interactives[BH2] , (aka “is modular”), and which specific interactives can be used.
Tip: If you’re looking for a specific interactive, consider searching for it with Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmnd+ F (Mac).

This is really cool and has me potentially thinking big. Are there limits to how big one of these books could be? I'm thinking if we have faculty that are interested in making their own full textbooks this would be a great way to do it since they can incorporate practice interactives right in the book itself.

Hey James, if there's a size limit, I haven't found it yet! I've seen some pretty complex interactive books that are essentially lessons in themselves.
