It's time for another session of the Accessibility Interest Group. In case anything breaks, the meeting is on May 5 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern. This time, our guest is Lori Wendt. Lori Wendt is the Instructional Technology Specialist at Parkland College. She has been an advocate for accessibility for a number of years and was part of the team that helped Parkland pass an institutional accessibility policy last year. This policy established a committee to help with the awareness and support of accessibility initiatives for the college, of which Lori is a member. Like many colleges, Parkland is navigating this "seemingly new" arena of compliance, and Lori is actively seeking colleagues to commiserate with her in their pain. Just kidding!
