Carin Supporting Students with ADHD Currently, there is not enough understanding or support for cognitive needs of online learners. This prompted D2L to collaborate with the University of Toronto on a 4-month Mitacs research project to understand the needs of learners with ADHD with the goal of identifying ways to support their learning through technology, content, and pedagogy. At the September AIG meeting, the Mitacs research team will present a summary of their interim results and seek feedback from members based on their direct or indirect experience with learners with ADHD in their institutions or elsewhere.
