Congratulations on starting college @wayne clark! There are many resources available to help you here in the Brightspace Community and also from your campus portal. You may want to email help@maine.edu or check out the Brightspace 101 – For Students self-paced course. Depending on the tools that you campus has enabled for use, you will learn how to navigate the system in the self paced course.
At the top of this site you can access the link for "topics" and choose either "learner" or "learning center" for some helpful resources. I would also suggest downloading the app "Pulse" to help you access your courses and information on a mobile device. You can download it here:

Congrats on the accomplishment. My best advice as a recent graduate is to stay on top of your work. Hiccups occur all the time and staying ahead of your work allows you to have a buffer between your due dates. Leveraging office hours is important, professors want you to succeed, talking with them when you are unsure is normal and often leads to deeper understanding.

Congrats Wayne! College / University can be an amazing time, but it can also be an extremely challenging experience. It is very easy to feel overwhelmed by workload and expectations. The most important thing to remember is to take it one step at a time and work through things systematically. Theres an old joke that goes: "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time." So take it easy, breathe, and take things one at a time. All the best!!!
