Anyone having issue with news items not appearing in the correct order this summer? Shows correct 1-10 when I check "reorder," but shows 3, 2, 10 order and so on on home page. I need to see them in the correct order and concerned online students may not be seeing them in proper order. Also working on fall classes this summer and need to get items to display in proper order. Tech person at college checked, but still jumbled order. Have never had any issues with items not displaying in correct order before. Has Brightspace had an update that might have resulted in a bug in this feature?

We have not had this problem at our institution. Has your tech person sent a ticket to D2L yet?

We have had this issue before ( not sure if it is still the same PRB?)
I can not view the original D2L ticket as it was quite old- but have found this information in our own ticketing system that may be of use:
The news item order issue is actually due to a PRB. This only happens when news items are manually reordered then newly created news items are placed without following the date order. Our internal team has been assigned to look into the PRB but at the moment there is no expected date when it may get resolved. We will update you once the PRB is fixed.
This was in 2016 but i do not have the PRB number. Hopefully you will get an answer to your query when you put in a job.

We had this problem previously, but according to the Fix Notifications: https://community.brightspace.com/s/article/Fix-Notifications this PRB0052132 was fixed in 10.8.0 and tests correctly in our instance (10.8.2). Hope that helps!
