AI app request
Would anyone be able to recommend an app that we can upload a script and it makes a training video? We've already looked at Synthesia and Speechify, but we're hoping to find another option.

Hi Jane, I think it might depend on the nature of the training video. Does it need to share, for example, a walkthrough of how to use software? If so, you might need something a bit more complex. To help people think of an answer, was there a reason that Synthesia and Speechify weren't right (like some missing functionality)?

Ooooh, great questions! Synthesia was perfect…except for the $8K per year price tag. And Speechify only records on screen items. Some of the things we're trying to record are more procedure based, and we need stock footage to represent a college campus.
So the Speechify pricing is perfect but it doesn't give us the media library of videos. -
Not sure about pricing, but another possibility is Pictory. That basically works on the basis of uploading a script, generating an AI voiceover, and using stock images / videos to display with each 'slide'. It's not to good in terms of uploading your own images or clips or making heavy edits to the videos, but it might be worth a look.
