Yuja Panorama Accessibility Tool

Our institution recently acquire Yuja Panorama (Summer 2024) as a replacement for Ally to assist our d2l platform with accessibility. Learning about this new tool, we encounter some interesting thing and would like to learn from others who may have use this tool much longer than us.
Wondering, if your school is using Yuja Panorama as an accessibility checker in D2L, would you reply back to me, melany.budiman@pcc.edu? We’d love to collaborate with you to learn more about Yuja Panorama as an accessibility tool with you.
Thank you, Melany Budiman.

Hi Melany,
My institution just procured YuJa Panorama. If you would, please promote the PIE item I just posted requesting D2L to provide YuJa with an API that would allow the remediated documents to replace course files.

Anna, we are about to acquire Panorama and have been told the API has been fixed to allow this. It's been 5 months since your comment, but I wanted to verify it's been fixed?

Hi Kris,
I'll be happy to provide an update. There has been improvement with the API but it is not 100% functional. From what I understand, there is a D2L issue that is producing a 500 error message for random files that prevents Panorama from replacing the original D2L file (i.e., users have to manually upload the fixed file to replace the existing D2L file still). This doesn't occur with all files, but it does happen frequently and randomly.
Additionally, Panorama doesn't update original D2L files if the file size is too large (I don't have the specific size). I believe YuJa Panorama is working towards fixing this issue.
I hope this helps.

Anna, similarly my org was so excited (and then disappointed) when Panorama updated their D2L functionality. It wasn't a consistent and reliable fix. We've turned off the feature entirely to offer to 'fix issue' because it causes confusion. We use lots of course masters and just can't risk having folks thinking they're remediating issues that won't get copied down to live courses.
I'm hoping Panorama and D2L get this fixed soon. I understand why the issue existed in the first place but had hoped once they collaborated with D2L that it could be resolved.
For other folks here - Panorama posts their monthly updates online if this link helps. -
Yes, we continue to be disappointed by Panorama's functionality and unpredictability. We still have not fully implemented it at our institution because the testing has gone so poorly.
Recently, we discovered that using the Panorama Remediation tool negatively impacts Creator+ authored webpages. I have yet to make rhyme or reason of it, but sometimes it deletes whole sections of content off the page. I've attached images here for clarity's sake.
