Definition of “Anonymous” differs
An instructor brought this to my attention the other day. Has anyone noticed that the definition of "Anonymous" is different between “Discussion Topics” and “Surveys”. In fact, in the context of discussion posts, the term "Anonymous" seems a bit misleading. As an Instructor, here’s what I see when I click on the ? to see a…

Is there a way to connect Discussions with Assessments?
I would like to connect Discussions with the Assignments tab somehow. I typically assign Discussion boards as low-stakes writing assignments and would like to have a Due Date (not an end date) that would allow for late submissions as well as the option to have the Discussion Post assignment show up under the Assignments…

Discussion posts hidden from students when created in Content tool as a new forum?
We have turned on the New Content Experience for all of our current summer term courses. "Invisible" Forum
I have a Discussion Forum in my courses that is not showing up for students. Students can see the html page I have with instructions, but there isn't anything following it. Just to clarify, it is set to "visible" on my end. My view: Student's view: Any idea on how to make this forum visible for students? Thanks :)

Replies to discussion posts

Exporting Discussion Post
Hello, We have some users that would like to export Discussion Post. They would like the export to include the context of the discussion post, and the replies of the students. In addition, they would like the author's and student's names to remain anonymous. Is this possible? I did not see a way of doing this. Thank you.
