When will the community.brightspace.com site be decomissioned?

We haven't announced a formal date at this time to decommission the Legacy Community- but we are using the Transition Plan (Also available in Legacy Community at Legacy Community is Changing, Stay in the Know (brightspace.com)) to communicate deprecation of features in Legacy Community.
The next big planned change is the removal of comments on Legacy Community (Feb 13th), Direct Messages and joining of groups in Legacy Community (March 1st)
Following that, an important step to complete prior to decommissioning Legacy Community, will be to ensure that you have a single sign on experience from this New Community to PIE, Learning Center and the ASC Experience (for ASCs). We've announced the intention to release this SSO access early this year
We want to make sure we're staying in touch with our Community Members all through the process so, please don't be a stranger and keep those posts coming :)
**Suzanne, your comment was a really good one and inspired a few edits here and to the transition plan to further clarify that comments on existing articles in legacy will be entirely removed on Feb 13th (but can still be added here in New Community Community Feedback — Brightspace (d2l.com) ) and additional updates to legacy community planned for March.
Let me know if there are additional areas of functionality that might be impacted that you're curious about, and I'll do what I can to find and post more information

During this hour, they'll dive into content from their Learning Center course Metacognitive Teaching and Learning Strategies to explore the framework and give real life examples of how you can implement the philosophy into your work!

Changing how the world learns isn't just a fun tagline at D2L. For a few months now, the Knowledge Team has been helping our clients and users transition their processes from the Legacy Community and Brightspace Help to the New Brightspace Community .
We're continuing to work on identifying content gaps and adding new features to make the New Brightspace Community an even better experience for everyone 🙌.
