I have a user role that should be able to see hidden content. They have the following permissions:

  • Content > View Content that is Not Released
  • Quizzes > See Conditionally Release Exams
  • Assignments > See and Submit Files to Assignment Submission Folders

But because the two assignments in question are hidden, they can't see those assignments. (For context, we're updating a course, and have the new content temporarily hidden while we test it.)

To help with grading, I want to be able to get a transcript for those videos. But I don't want other students to get the transcript, just CC. I have tried to use Kaltura media, available via Insert Stuff, but I don't see how to view CC or get a transcript. (I entered Student View mode and created a video posting).

Any advice on how to set up video discussion postings would be appreciated.

It is also in "Create New" when you want to add something to that unit. There is a video that shows an example of how to do this by uploading a Word file to create a new unit with two sub-items. However, I can't find any information on how that DOCX file should be formatted to create those items. Can someone point me in the right direction?
